Forgot to add:
I read some of the reviews and have a comment on the tin. Due to arthritis in fingers and hands I was having a terrible time taking the lid off the tin. I found a small glass jar with a screw lid and spray painted the outside of the jar black. I keep it next to the sink on the counter top. The lid has the sticker on top and everyone knows what it is and to handle with care.

Great product
My dentist has told me to not use charcoal toothpaste due to the abrasive nature and it could harm the enamel. I didn't specify the other ingredients and perhaps they thought it was store bought charcoal toothpaste. I have been using this powder for about a year and have no complaints. I would like to know how abrasive the charcoal is and could it be harmful to the enamel? I would think that it's no more abrasive than the baking soda and that has been in use for many, many years.
